Finding ones life; their heart, mind, and soul occupied with Christ is to be engaged with the Way, the Truth and the Life; to be possessed by Wisdom, Righteousness, Sanctification and Redemption. Not as things we seek or strive after in our own effort in order to be pleasing to God, but the Person Himself Who is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6); the Person Himself Whom God has made unto us Wisdom, Righteousness, Sanctification and Redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30). This is not an occupation that stimulates our minds alone, leaving our lives void of Him. It is by faith a living union in resurrection life with God in Christ at the very core of us, our spirit, with progressive ripple effects reaching outward and touching every aspect of our daily lives.
The world in general has become very loud, no matter where you go there is traffic and commercials and intercom’s blaring music. In this internet age filled with social media and blogging, the reader is no doubt accustomed to finding a like or share button along with the ability to comment or read through a thread of comments (that may very well be filled with wonderful words), over the years this has become more and more overwhelming to my spirit, so as far as Word Press makes it possible, these items/capabilities have been disabled, not at all in an attempt to be detached from the reader, but in hopes of creating a more quiet and peaceful environment for any hungry heart who stumbles upon this space to listen to the echo of His voice rather than all the usual internet clamor.
If a reader feels it necessary to reach me there is a contact tab on the home screen that will come directly to my email.
May our hungry hearts find satisfaction in Christ alone.
